Travel time between The Clearing & Christchurch will get even faster.
Fantastic news! The trip between ChCh & The Clearing will soon be even quicker, with the Belfast to Pegasus Motorway and Woodend Bypass listed as one of the top 15 'Roads of National Significance'. Running from Belfast (on the North Eastern outskirts of Christchurch) and North to Pegasus, this project would be an extension to the Christchurch Northern Corridor. With an expected start date of 1-3 years, it is considered to be the most likely of the 15 projects to get cracking soon. Read more about NZ's top 15 roads of significance here.
