$20m Healthcare Infrastructure Investment Planned for Amberley

A new three-level, 3,000sqm health and wellness facility is planned for a vacant site adjacent to the 2.7ha Brackenfields Shopping Centre. The proposed development, which is subject to planning approval, is set to attract more medical professionals into the town, the population of which (according to Stats NZ data) has increased by 58% over 12 years. Huruni District Council Now Accepting Building Consent Applications.

We are pleased to confirm Hurunui District Council are now receipting building consent applications for new builds at The Clearing North Canterbury. 
 
Please note that before you start your build, you must have received sign-off of your design as per the agreed covenants, so (if you haven't already done so):

  • Please submit your plans for approval through to this email.

We have some excellent news  -  engineering approval for  The Clearing North Canterbury has been received from the Hurunui District Council. This means that we can move forward with the lodging of titles, and we are aiming to have them ready by late November 23 for settlements in early December 23.  Solicitors will be contacted with pre-settlement statement in early December.
 
In terms of works onsite: the soft landscaping is all complete, and the fencers are making fantastic headway with fencing of sections. Everything is on track for settlement, so now is the perfect time to obtain approvals for your new home. We've already processed several applications and it's exciting to see house plans for The Clearing taking shape. A reminder that you need to submit your plans according to the Design Guide through to this email.  This link provides the requirements of the approvals process and a copy of your covenants is here

Works in the month of October have seen significant works completed on the in ground services most notably three waters and on site works – bulk earthworks; with road formation works currently being undertaken.
 
The first of our fencing is also underway with our adjoining neighbours.
 
The Team at NorWest contractors are looking forward to a dry hot summer to progress works on site and we are still on track for completion and titles June 2023.
